High-performance ultrasound systems

These patented high-performance ultrasonic systems feature a compact design and boost the efficiency of environmentally friendly energy production.

This makes them easy to integrate into existing facilities.

New design featuring a variable number of modules

The new high-performance ultrasonic system is designed so that the biomass flows from left to right, coming into contact with the sonotrodes head-on and passing them in loops.
On the one hand, this prevents deposits from accumulating inside the individual chambers.
On the other hand, the transducers can operate more efficiently and require less frequent maintenance, as the biomass does not adhere to the tips of the sonotrodes.
Thanks to its modular design, the new high-performance ultrasonic system can be flexibly adapted to the size of the plant.
It usually consists of three to five modules arranged in series – depending on the flow rate to be treated.
As the medium itself only remains in the ultrasonic system for a short time, the unit is very compact.
It can be easily and simply integrated into existing systems via an inlet and outlet pipe (plug & play).

Higher output through intense cavitation

However, the process itself has not changed:
Of all the ultrasonic disintegration technologies available on the market, only our high-performance ultrasonic systems are capable of generating hard cavitation.
This means that the biomass is directly exposed to ultrasonic waves – in contrast to competing systems, where the chamber is set into vibration, similar to an ultrasonic cleaning bath.
The biomass is first broken down into its agglomerates and then further broken down into smaller structures.
These are later more bioavailable, resulting in a higher output.
What nature usually takes 30 to 40 days to achieve, for example in biogas plants, the high-performance ultrasonic system accomplishes in a few seconds.
